Our Family Farm
Welcome to Living Water Farms!
We are a family-owned and operated greenhouse farm, located in rural central Illinois, specializing in vegetable production. With over 6,000 square feet of greenhouse growing space, we produce lettuce, greens, basil and pea tendrils in our state-of-the-art facilities.
The vision which gave birth to Living Water Farms (LWF) was the enjoyment of gardening, the need for fresh, year-round, sustainably grown vegetables, and the desire for a business that our family could all be involved in. Our family has gardened side-by-side over the years in Central Illinois and the love of growing things has now been embraced by our children.
LWF has grown from a very small family operation to a controlled environment farming operation that now employs 4 full-time and 8 part-time employees. Part of the original vision of LWF was to be able to not only provide employment opportunities for family members, but for the community as well. We are very thankful for and appreciate our employees so much - they are the folks that help us bring our wonderful living greens to you.
In 2010, Matthew Schneider, CPA joined LWF as our CFO and Greenhouse Manager. His financial background and experience has been very instrumental in the growth we are now experiencing. Matthew and his wife Katie are very welcome additions to the LWF family.
